You can transfer goods to inventory management in a UPWMS by following these steps:
1. Add product information to UPWMS:
First, you will need to enter them into the UPWMS inventory. This typically involves entering information such as the UPC\EAN code, ASIN code, FNSKU, Merchant SKU number, Manufacturer SKU number, and Product Name of the goods.
To facilitate this operation, you can Bulk Import products from a file.
After adding a product, you will be able to create an Inbound shipment.
At the stage of adding goods to Inventory, the available number of goods is zero, and the warehouse where the goods are located is not defined (if your company has several warehouses)
2. Create an Inbound Shipment:
Next, you will need to Select the products you want to add and create an Inbound Shipment for them. When creating an Inbound Shipment, specify the number of product units and the warehouse where the product is located.
To facilitate this operation, you can Bulk Import products from a file.
3. Receive goods:
Next, you will need to receive the goods into the warehouse. This typically involves unloading the goods from a delivery truck or other transportation and checking them against the delivery documentation to ensure that the correct items were received.
If the items are already in stock, this step is not required.
4. Verify and check goods:
Next, you will need to check and verify the goods to ensure that they are in good condition and that the quantity and quality match the expected specifications. You may need to take any necessary action to resolve any discrepancies or issues that are identified.
5. Enter goods into the UPWMS:
Once the goods have been received and checked, you will need to enter them into the WMS. This typically involves entering information such as the item number, quantity, and location of the goods.
After this operation, the available quantity will appear in the Inventory opposite each product. The storage warehouse of the goods will also be indicated.
